I have started to coordinate a 2014 Spring Craft Fair for my neighborhood vendors. I'm very excited about this. I've never coordinated a craft fair before so we will see how it goes. I just posted it on our neighborhood Facebook sites and I've already had tons of hits. YAY! Well, I better get started on more "spring-like" crafts. :) I'll be sure to keep you all posted on what I come up with.
See you soon...

2013 Craft Fairs
It's been a long time since I've posted on my blog. Sorry about that. The last year has been very crazy for my family. BUT now I'm back and I'm hoping to start posting more and more.
Over the last few weeks I have been preparing for my holiday craft fairs. I know..."last few weeks" screams out PROCRASTINATOR! :-) But like I said...crazy year. Anyway, I have done 3 craft fairs this year and they were all very successful. I'm extremely happy with the outcome and I have to thank my husband and daughter for helping me. I sold out of quite a few things after just my very first craft fair and since they were almost back to back, I had to enlist the family as my helpers so I can get more products out.
Here are pictures of this years crafts. I only took 1 picture at 1 of my craft fairs. I'll try and remember to take more at my next ones.

Valentine's Day is coming...
I'm so excited to show you what I've created so far for Valentine's Day. Now I just need to decide which one's to make for my daughters class.

Now accepting credit card payments - Check out my new shop
SHOP NOW w/PayPal (click the tab at the top of this page to start shopping)
I'm now able to accept credit card payments on my website and I will also soon be able to accept credit card payments via mobile swiping (in person, craft fairs, etc.).
If you need last minute stocking stuffers or gifts let me know. I still have some items left over from this years craft fairs. Unfortunately shipping is not available this year as it is too close to the holidays and your items will not make it to you in time. But if you are local, I can deliver them to you (a small delivery fee may apply depending on the delivery address).
I'm still building my cart on my website so please be patient. I want to make sure I have pictures for each item.

I'm back!!!
I feel like it has been super long since I've posted anything...oh wait...it has been. LOL!
Well I'm back. I have been extremely busy over the past month with preparing for my craft fairs. I had 2 scheduled and I'm happy to say that they were both very successful. I wasn't able to capture too many pics but here is a picture of my latest craft fair. This was a pretty small craft fair at my work but it was so much fun and I sold out of almost everything. So much so that I am currently fulfilling more orders for products that I ran out of.

Grounding my Daughter gave me a crafty idea...
My daughter came home today with a Progress Report from her school. Overall she did ok but she had 2 D-'s & 1 F that she received on some individual assignments!!! I was NOT happy about that. So I ended up grounding her. I remember back in the day when I would get grounded for bad grades (among other things). My mom used to make me write the definitions of 100 dictionary words each night for a week. This was supposed to make me learn my lesson. Unfortunately it didn't make me learn my lesson but the one plus side was I became great at spelling big words. Well, I decided to revamp my mom's idea and put a little twist on it for my daughter. I created a worksheet (in Excel). On this worksheet it has room for her to write 5 dictionary words, 5 times each, write sentences (her own-not from the dictionary) for each word and then also write the dictionary definition for each word. This is something she needs to do each night...5 words per night. I know this sounds cruel but I now thank my mom for doing it to me.
Not only did I create this worksheet for my daughter but I also created a book to house them. Below is the book. In the pictures she looks pretty excited because I let her pick the outside design but don't let that fool you, as soon as I explained what the book was for, she was NOT as happy. So here is the book. Maybe you can find a use for a book like this. If you are interested in a copy of the worksheet, let me know and I can email it on over to you. Thanks!
